Video Surveillance
Video surveillance allows you to have eyes in unlikely places. It is closely linked to the detection function of the physical protection system and in some cases is capable of acting as a detector (video analytics). Video surveillance is generally used for the following purposes:
- Incident Assessment: In a real-time scenario, when a detector is activated, video surveillance enables the cause of the detection to be validated. Integrating detection and video surveillance helps greatly reduce related response times.
- Proactive surveillance: A detection that is not associated with video surveillance can still be used for real-time, proactive surveillance of the critical areas.
- Evidence gathering: To the extent where real-time supervision is not operationally possible, video surveillance technologies facilitate the gathering of evidence to be used in the investigation and judicial process.
- Cameras (Analog, IP and Thermal) and Encoders
- Digital Video Recorders and Archivers
- Video Management Softwares (VMS)
